Construction on Greystones Primary Care Centre to begin in September

Fine Gael Wicklow TD, Simon Harris, has welcomed confirmation from the HSE that construction on the new Primary Care Centre in Greystones will begin in September.

Deputy Harris said, “The Department of Health has now been informed by the developers that work on the Primary Care Centre for Greystones will begin in September. Some site-enabling works will take place before this to facilitate this in the interim, and the HSE are estimating that the facility will open in early 2014.”

“I am delighted to see progress being made on providing this important multi-disciplinary facility in Greystones. The much-anticipated completion of the works will also help in improving the appearance of the Harbour area, which I know will be appreciated by local residents and businesses alike.”

“I will continue to liaise with the Department of Health and Wicklow County Council as work on the site progresses.”
