e’ve been lucky here at GG HQ to have been gifted some treasures from local photographer Luke McGuinness’ archives twice before…
It’s amazing how much can change in a decade or two – and quite a few of those changes have been for the better, when you see flooded roads, and barely-there beaches.
Nostalgia plays its part too, of course, and seeing a busy old harbour will no doubt have many reaching for the banjo.
But, hey, it’s all good. There’s beauty here. And there was plenty of beauty on display earlier today when Max and GG took our first boat ride out of Greystones harbour.
So, cherish the past, and embrace the future. Ya soppy eejit.
