t’s always a good idea when opposites meet on some very common ground…
It gives each a new perspective on life as they view life from both sides now.
It also helps you realise that we’re all really just the same – tall, short, rich, poor, young, old; everyone wants a treat, some heat, and a comfy bed.
There were plenty of treats at the Greystones Nursing Home today, as the kids from Knockeevin Montessori put on their Christmas play for the residents.
From what we could see, with radiators blasting and snuggly beds in the distant rooms, these particular Greystonians had all you could want for a fine day.
And it was made all the finer as these young folk entertained the old folk with popular Christmas songs and the story of that little fella who was born in a stable.

Helping it all run smoothly were Melissa and Emma from Knockeevin and Eve from the nursing home. We caught up with the latter-two afterwards, to grab a few words before everyone piled on down to the pub…
