he viewing took place this afternoon of the recently refurbished Bushfield House, a beautiful property in a prime Greystones location, situated on the corner of Church Road and La Touche Place – and it was very quickly a full house.
Despite the fact that the monthly rent on this property is rumoured to be very much in the region of €4,000 a month, there were over 600 curious Greystonians through the door between 12 noon and 3pm today, Saturday, October 31st, 2015.
Who knew the town had so many millionaires? And such plain clothes millionaires too, most tastefully dressed as though they were just everyday Greystones folk with just enough in the bank to get by – never mind shelling out €4,000 a month so you can grab a bottle of Blue Nun, a Pot Noodle and 20 Major a mere two minutes walk from your front door.
To be fair, you can tell all these fine, upstanding Greystonians were in indeed millionaires, because making that kind of money will fair give you an appetite. Just ask Johnny Morrison. And, bejiggers, did these millionaires wolf down the free sandwiches, tea and coffee on offer today. It’s a hungry business, being a high-flying business executive, and no mistake.
A stunning little spot – and unfortunately a little too small for GG’s needs – Bushfield House was given its loving makeover by Higcon Construction, whilst the property itself is available through McGovern Estates.
If you’re thinking of taking the place, you’d better hurry though. There are at least 600 well-fed and filthy rich tycoons in the queue ahead of you…
