Plainly having tired of the lack of intelligent conversation and witty repartee at Bray’s harbour, it’s nice to see swans arriving in Greystones this week.
Then again, they are a classier kind of bird, and we’ve always attracted those.
With two mates floating by on Thursday, it was surprising to see this lone swan just about come ashore at The Cove on Friday.
Perhaps he was taking shelter, or merely wanted to take a walk on the mild side. Whatever the reason, having a few swans in Greystones would be a welcome addition to our already rather fine seafront.
