ell, isn’t all this just fine and – dare we say it – damned dandy…?
Not only do we have a fine gathering of groovy Greystones artists happening this week, but their sweet get-together just happens to be in one of the town’s most loved locations ever.
Yep, whoever thought of putting the North Shore Art Group’s second-ever exhibition into Mooney’s vacant and recently refurbished shop deserves a a big bag of sweets.
The fact that Bridie Mooney’s daughter-in-law, Siobhan, is part of this gang of eight painters might be a clue as to who that brainiac might be, of course, but, when we finally got to swing by the new exhibition this evening, the beautiful art in such a familiar and friendly place proved to be a perfect match.
Luckily for us too, some of the artists just happened to be there. So, naturally, we cornered them for a little chat.
The exhibition is currently running until Christmas, all going well,  opening Thursday & Friday 11am to 4pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Allowing for a little wiggle room, of course.
Just the place to get something unique for your Christmas list…
