ith thirteen acclaimed nature books to his name, author and ecologist Richard Nairn will be giving a free talk at Greystones library in August.

His latest book, Wild Waters: The Magic Of Ireland’s Rivers And Lakes, was released in May of this year.

The Wicklow-based writer has also released Wild Woods: The Magic Of Ireland’s Native Woodlands, Wild Shores: The Magic Of Ireland’s Coastline and Wild Wicklow: Nature In The Garden Of Ireland, as well as Bird Habitats In Ireland.

Nairn was the head of BirdWatch Ireland for ten years.

Taking place on Tuesday, August 15th at 7pm, this free talk is part of National Heritage Week.
