We Said Anna O’Rourke Would Win The Canon Photo Competition

A member of the Greystones Camera Club, Anna O’Rourke has just been announced as the winner of the recent Canon/Journal.ie photographer of the year competition. And it couldn’t have happened to a nicer photographer.

A big big thank you to everyone who supported me these past few weeks and for all the votes. Delighted to be the overall winner of the Canon/Journal.ie Amateur Photography competition!

There was a lovely reception at the Teelings Whiskey Distillery in Dublin yesterday evening where they announced the results and they are exhibiting the 3 finalists photos for the next month… I won a Canon 750d DSLR worth 900 euros and training spanning over 6 months at the Dublin Institute of photography…

I’ve been on a high all day!! xx
