aving set up Wicklow’s grooviest farm back in 2017, Joe Phelan has decided to invite everyone around to his place this Christmas.

Having proven such a hit last December, the K2Alpacas gang are hosting their own Mini Christmas Fair.

Happening every Saturday and Sunday right up to the big day, besides getting up close and charmed with our woolly friends up Newtownmounkennedy way, there’s a range of alpaca goodies on offer – including teddy bears, hats and slippers – plus a Meet & Greet experience that’s fun for the whole family.

Come and see some of our 90 alpacas, browse our gift shop and pick up a unique gift – you won’t find our alpaca gifts anywhere else.

Alpaca Farm Gift Shop
Visit our Farm Gift Shop for that unique Christmas gift. Experience our handmade alpaca toys and beyond, each a one-off. We love to see our customer’s reactions when they feel alpaca wool for the first time. Our alpaca slippers and socks are the ideal Christmas gift that once worn you will find it hard to wear anything else. Opening times are 12pm to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday up to and including December 19th.

Alpaca Trek & Prosecco Experience
Looking for something to do over Christmas? Well, why not get out into the fresh air for a trek with our alpacas. It’s safe and we operate small groups. The experience is 2 hours and is perfect for selfie opportunities. Get up close to feed our furry friends, see their individual personalties for yourself and finish off with a nice glass of Prosecco or juice. The Trek Experience is suitable for Children 8 and upwards. Check our website FAQs for more information.

Alpaca Meet & Greet Experience
Ideal for the little un’s or those who have mobility issues where the trek on our beautiful farm might not be suitable. This 30-minute experience is ideal for Children 7 and Under. Meet Ducky Pippa Tessa and Minerva and all the others. Our Meet & Greet Experience will be running each weekend’ every 30 mins.

Coming in 2022 – our K2Cottages

Farm Gift Shop opening times are 12pm to 4pm and the Aplaca Trek from 10am to 2pm every Saturday and Sunday up to and including December 19th. Ample car parking available. Covid guidelines apply on site so, please bring a mask.
