Following on from the nationwide strikes on March 15th and May 24th, schoolkids are once again being called upon to come out on the streets on for climate change.
With the call this time going out to not only schoolkids but adults too, Friday’s action is part of 7-day global strike.
Running from September 20th to the 27th, it’s hoped that millions will walk out of their workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets, and demand, say the organisers, an end to the age of fossil fuels.
Greystones will be doing its bit once again, in Burnaby Park, on Friday, September 20th, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
