Garda Confirm Kilcoole AttackJuly 10, 2019
Hit & Run At KilmacanogueJuly 8, 2019
They arrived in September of last year to much ballyhoo and balloons, and even 10c off every litre of fuel.
Yep, Circle K were here to make Greystones’ cars better, faster, stronger and cheaper.
Just for one day.
Since then, a pattern has emerged whereby the Greystones branch of Circle K tends to always charge just a few schekels more than every other Circle K garage around.
For example, in the past few days, whereas their Kilmacanogue branch is charging €1.38.9 and €1.28.9 for petrol and diesel respectively, Greystones reckons being on the wrong side of the Little Sugar Loaf means that you should pay €1.38.9 and €1.48.9 respectively.
A full 10c more per liter. Rather than 10c less.
In Terenure’s Circle K, it’s €1.32.9 and €1.22.9. Oh, and you’ve got to love the .9 when it comes to making an extra cent out of us on every litre. What fecker came up with that?
We got in touch with Circle K, to find out if they might just be Circle jerking us…
Pricing on all our sites is done on an individual basis, based on the site and its individual characteristics and the various costs prevailing in the market at any point in time.
We constantly review our price to remain competitive in each area that we operate in and deliver the best value product to our customers.
Well, it’s good to know that they’re constantly reviewing their prices. And, when it comes to Greystones, constantly coming up with the same conclusion.
Charge those feckers that little bit extra. Because we’re worthless. Or are we priceless?
Currently, Centra down at the end of Church Road are matching Circle K’s constantly-reviewed prices, so, if you’re looking for value, head up to the Kilpedder Filling Station, where petrol is currently €1.43.9 and diesel is €1.32.9.
Man, the sooner we get electric cars around here, the better.
