He may be based all the way over in those darned attractive United States, but Gary Acheson’s heart is still very much in Greystones.
The man behind our mighty Blasts From The Past, and the son of the man who Kodachromed his way around the town in the ’60s and ’70s, Gary did a little archiving all of his own during his teenage wildlife years on the mean streets of Greystones.
Plainly having fallen in with the wrong crowd, Gary nonetheless survived, and thrived, to become the renowned historian and barroom wit that he is today.
So, take a walk on the wild side of 1980s Greystones. Just don’t try this at home kids…
