aving established The Barn At Belmont as one of our finest – and yummiest – escapes, chefs Oran and Darryl have something special planned for Saturday evenings.

Starting on October 21st and running until November 18th (when the Christmas parties take over), they’ll be serving up their new Supper Club with a rather tasty 2-course and 3-course menu.

For starters, we’re talking homemade bread and butter alongside home-smoked goats curd, beetroot, walnut and sourdough, scallop ceviche, yuzu, apple, pickled fennel and combo; Winetavern Farm crispy pork terrine, patron pepper and remoulade; or beef carpaccio, bilberry balsamic, pecorino and rocket-toasted pine nut.

For the main, it’s wild North Wicklow venison, cauliflower, Cavolo Nero and black olive jus; organic chicken and wild mushroom Pitivier, crispy leeks and brandy cream; pan roast hake, mussels, prawns and clams, versus broth. cranberry and pine nut Wellington sautéed greens, with roast root vegetables and potatoes served for the table.

For dessert, you can choose between rum and date cake, salted caramel sauce with raisin ice cream or citrus meringue doughnuts and preserved peach with honey and thyme ice cream.

For two courses, it’s €45; for three, it’s €52, with a 12.5% discretionary service charge on all bookings.

Doors are 6pm, and the parking is free with The Barn.
