It Takes A Village MarketDecember 1, 2018
The Bellevue Bistro Is HereNovember 30, 2018
If there’s one thing you can be sure of down at the Greystones Harbour Christmas Market every weekend, it’s free hugs.
Even when you’re covered, head to toe, in fresh-off-the-spinning-tyres mud.
Yep, it was a sweetly exotic affair down at the very first day of this annual festive favourite, with people coming from miles around – and even overseas, as a bunch of international, jetsetting mountain bikers rode into town.
And it would be fair to say that they were impressed. Not only by the large selection of locally crafted goodies on offer, and those groovy Greystones Tidy Town cats, but also, well, Jody Connaughton’s trademark facial hair.
Hey, how could a flock of mountain bikers not be drawn to such an outrageous handlebar moustache…?
Running every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm, right up to the big day, when you start your Christmas shopping, start here, kids. Then make your way up through town.
Then, and only then, should you venture beyond our borders to complete your Christmas list.
Shop local, shop often. You know it makes cents…
