It’s been heartening to see so many people putting in the time and effort to make sure that others don’t go without at this difficult time.

From the frontline health workers and those keeping essential supplies available to all the volunteer groups and teachers, it’s been a true kick to see so much good out there.

And now, the BirdWatch Ireland have done their bit, with the Cork branch putting together a chart for anyone wishing to name all the birds that might just be frequenting their garden.

Using photographs from Mark Carmody’s The Birds Of Ireland: A Field Guide, this might just wile away a few days, and maybe even weeks, as you fill up your Backyard Birdy Bingo card.
