ou never know who you might find blowing their own trumpet down at the Hot Spot Sunday Session.
From folk to blues, from jazz back to folk again, Ailbhe’s basement japes are largely string-driven groove thang.
So young, so full of dope
Up in the attic.
And if you happen to be a budding musical maestro, you can always join in. Even if you’re crap.
Happening on Sundays at 4pm, these semi-regular sessions were put on hold by that bastard Covid, but they’re back up and strumming with folkie fecks on February 5th and 13th, plus jazz junkies on the 20th.
At least, that’s the plan. Given that these Sundays vary, best check over on The Hot Spot Music Club for the latest on who, what, why and when right here.
Just to be sure, to be sure. Also upcoming, Thinner Lizzy on March 19th, Mack Fleetwood on March 26th, Daoiri Farrell on April 15th and Celtic Soul with their Van Morrison Songbook on May 14th.
