Cannabis with the estimated street value of €42,000 has been seized at a Kilmacanogue home.
The bags were found as part of the Gardai’s ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in County Wicklow.
The search took place in a property just outside the village, where the Bray District Drugs Unit also uncovered drug-related paraphernalia, including weighing scales and plastic deal bags.
Two men, one in their 40s, the other in his 20s, were arrested at the house last Wednesday, and taken to Bray Garda Station, where they were questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Both men have since been released without charge whilst files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
