Beginning at the Lidl junction where the R761 meets Chapel Road, and extending easterly for approximately 140m, that handy back road from Delgany to Blacklion will largely be out of action over the summer months.
From July 22nd to September 13th, Irish Water will be working their magic, and diversions will be in place.
Here’s the lowdown…
Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice of the temporary closure of the following public roads 22/07/2019 to 13/09/2019.
Roads to be closed:
L-1027 Chapel Road, Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
R-761 Rathdown Road, L-1026 Blacklion Road, L-1027 Chapel Road, Greystones, Co Wicklow.
This closure is to facilitate Irish Water Works.
We checked exactly where this is happening. It’s from Blacklion Church down to the traffic lights. Just beside the road works at Roche’s.
