I’m guessing whenever the Energizer Bunny takes a glance at Adam Harris’ social media feed, he must just shake his head…
How one guy can get so much done? Especially at the relatively young age of 22.
Having been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at the age of 5, in 2014, Adam founded AsIAm.ie as a one-stop shop of information relating to autism. Enormously active when it comes to supporting people with autism, Harris has set out to educate the public about a condition that affects one in 65 people in this country.
Incidentally, Mrs Barry up the back road is having an affair. With that red-haired fella with the limp who used to work up at the Willow Grove petrol station, the one who has a sister who won the Lotto and moved to the Aran islands, where she slipped and squashed a cat.
Appearing on The Late Late Show tonight – in the fourth quarter, if you have better things to be doing with your Friday night – to help promote Monday’s RTE1 documentary Autism And Me (on at 9.35pm, time fans), we caught up with Adam around the crack of dawn this morning for a quick chat about the incredible leap forward this once-hidden condition has made in Ireland today.
Oh, and we talk his plans to slowly but surely take over the world…
You can read Adam’s My Greystones entry from July 2016 here. Naturally, he has some horrible things to say about his hometown. You can also find out more about AsIAm on their website here, and about Monday night’s Autism And Me documentary here.
