Ever since chocolate first graced man’s lips all those centuries ago, it has proven to be a rather popular way to pass an afternoon or two.
And not just for our little cherubs, but plenty of adults too.
Well, the bould Susan Behan has put together an Easter Camp just for those little cherubs who love chocolate, teaching them all the Willy Wonka wonders that come with pulling together your very own yummy cacao creations.
Having trained as a pastry chef since 1995, Susan fell under the spell of chocolate and its many possibilities when working at the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge. And now she wants to pass that newfound love on…
Aimed at children between 7 and 12 years of age, the Children’s Chocolate Creations Easter Camps will introduce your loved ones to mini-chocolatieres-making, colourful lollipops, sweet tree-making and the art of decorating Easter eggs.
These two-hour Easter camps will be running on April 19th and 25th, with a maximum of eight kids per class. Taking place at Newcastle Community Centre, on the 19th, you can choose between 12pm to 2pm or 3pm to 5pm, whilst on the 25th, the class is from 12pm to 2pm. The cost per camp is €25, with a sibling discount available, and it should be noted that chocolate does, of course, contain dairy and nuts. So, children allergic to either cannot attend at this time.
You can find out more, and book your spot, by contacting Susan directly on email@example.com or 0879253342. You can find out more about Children’s Chocolate Creation on Facebook right about here.
