hen it comes to the great Irish weather, hey, what a difference a day can make…
Yesterday, the sun split the sky, and we all got to say goodbye to Mrs Mooney in style.
Today, for Greystones’ annual Christmas Day swim, that sky took revenge.
By unleashing hell. On ice.
But, hey, Greystonians are made of sterner stuff when it comes to crappy weather, and so, there were many a brave/bonkers soul out on the South Beach today for their yearly dip in the ice cold Irish Sea.
Our roving photographer John McGowan was down early, to get some proper portrait shots (see below), whilst GG stuck largely to the steps before retreating, soaked, to a roaring stove.
