t’s one of the most beautiful spots in Greystones, hidden down a cul de sac by the sea…
So, is it any wonder that the creative and kaleidoscopic Genevieve Harden would open up an art studio over on The Grove?
Now firmly established as one of Greystones’ most popular art havens, every summer, all the kids are invited around for a series of summer camps. And this year, they’ve got eight week-long love-ins to choose from – four with Genevieve and four with her daughter, Sophie.
Here’s the summer 2023 line-up at the Coast Art Studios…

Genevieve uses the local environment, such as the Greystones North Beach, Bray Head and St Crispins Cell, as inspiration for the workshops. The week covers painting, print, construction, drawing, sculpture and art appreciation. Each camp is limited to 10 children, providing sufficient assistance and attention for each child to enjoy an enriching and fulfilling creative experience.

She will also be assisted by her friend and her mum, Genevieve.
Now, over to Genevieve for some more info on the studio itself…
Coastal Art Studios is the perfect place for people of all ages, offering the freedom to unleash the inner artist. Art classes here will inspire creativity in a homely environment. We aim to give you a non-therapy therapy experience, a place in which to create lasting memories for you, your family and friends.
We are situated on the Bray to Greystones cliff walk. The studio is set in the garden of an old railway worker’s cottage. The garden and the surrounding landscape provides a great source of inspiration and distraction. We are lucky to have beautiful views of the sea and Bray Head, and hope that here you will enjoy…
• a safe space to get messy • creating in a positive environment • non stressful therapy • working outside • the stimulus of a beautiful landscape.
