Coffee Morning For Coolnagreina Crew

he Sugarloaf Lions are sponsoring a special coffee morning this Friday at The Rise down by the harbour.

Which is not to be confused with Tiglin’s other seafront cafe, Rise At The Cove.

They really should have had a longer meeting about those names.

The purpose is to give our Ukrainian visitors at Coolnagreina a chance to meet and mingle with others in Wicklow who have fled Putin’s invasion.

Many have made a new life for themselves here in Wicklow, but it nonetheless can’ be easy, leaving everything you know and love behind. Especially if you’re a child.

Says one of the Sugarloaf gang, “The invitation is open to all those who wish to meet with fellow countrymen, women and children who have made their way to our shores.

“There will be representatives of local support and welfare organisations present on the day to offer advice.”
