Daata Are Greystones’ Yummiest Takeaway 2020

ou might be able to tell already from the big happy head on him, but Waseem is feckin’ chuffed that his beloved Daata have won our inaugural vote for the finest takeaway around.

Chuffed not only because so many people voted for the Indian-Pakistani eaterie on Hillside Road, but also because the award is recognition of all those not only in the kitchen and on the floor but also those diligent drivers winging those mouth-watering Daata goodies straight to your door.

It was a close call at times just who might win Greystones’ Yummiest Takeaway 2020, as those Daata votes were often overtaken by fans of new food truck in town, BapMobile Kilcoole.

Elsewhere, Tiffin By Sunil down in Charlesland has its loyal followers too, as does Burrito Box, Chakra, Indian Spice, Camile, Enso, Bear Paw, Joe Sweeney’s, and on, and on, and on…

Ain’t no doubt about it, we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to good food around here.
