Delgany Players Show A Little Skirt

The gang’s all here…

oung Cheryl Ball from the Delgany Golf Club Drama Group has been on the blower about their welcome return to the stage.

And to make sure their return is a merry one, the gang have chosen a much-loved comedy.

In Sam Cree’s 1970s-set Cupid Wore Skirts, the action all takes place in the living room at the rear of Andrew Coulter’s antique shop in sunny Belfast. When the widower advertises for a wife, he finds those walking through his door aren’t quite what he had been hoping for.

A popular play since its first production in February 1965, the DGC Drama Group first started rehearsing Cupid Wore Skirts back in 2021. And then a worldwide pandemic kinda got in the way.

So, Cheryl and co will be chomping at the bit when they hit the Delgany Golf Club stage in February, the play running from Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th and Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th.
