John Hozier-Byrne is very much on familiar turf for his new single, De Selby (Part 2).
And he’s brought along his buddy, Domhnall Gleeson, for a video shoot that takes in Newcastle, Kilcoole and the heart-shaped Lough Ouler.
Along the way, Domhnall gets to go a little wild – and cuckoo – in the mud, shovel in hand and a somewhat crazed look in his eyes.

The man even ventured into sunny Greystones for a live performance of Cherry Wine on the rooftop of the derelict La Touche Hotel back in July 2013.
Oh, and let’s not forget his pre-fame performances at The Hot Spot in 2011 and 2012.
With his third album, Unreal Unearth, released this weekend, Hozier is on the road again, selling out venues from Red Rocks to Malahide Castle, from The Hollywood Bowl to Byrne’s Pub in Kilcoole.
