Today, Friday 2nd June 2023, as part of an intelligence led operation targeting persons suspected to be involved in an organised crime group operating in Wicklow, an operation was conducted by Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Wicklow and Bray District Drugs Unit and personnel from Revenue Customs Service.

During the course of this operation, Revenue officers seized suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €78,768.

Gardaí arrested two men in their 20s and a woman in her 30s as part of this investigation. The three suspects have been charged this evening and station bailed to appear at Wicklow District Court at 10.30am on Tuesday, June 20th 2023. 

Also, on Tuesday, June 6th, a young adult male was arrested in Bray after the discovery of herbal cannabis valued at €18,000 was charged and bailed and is due before Bray District Court in July.
