t’s a somewhat quieter Easter this year, once again, but there’s still lots of fun and chocolate to be had out there.

And some prayer too, of course.

For those who do like their chocolate, Paddy at Daly’s SuperValu has gone a little bunny in the head, with specials on Easter eggs all over de shop. Check ’em right over here.

The award-winning Zenobia have Easter weekend covered, with a Ladies Night on Thursday 6th, 10% off for parties of four or more on Friday and Sunday, and wiggly jelly on the menu Saturday as the belly dancing returns. Full details here.

Over at The Source Bulk Foods in Meridian Point, they have Easter sorted with their limited edition chocolates, all coming to you plastic-free and delicious. We’re talking praline, peanut butter, chocolate and raspberry, with vegan options all over de shop. Which is as it should be. This being Greystones. There are also Grab & Go Easter Eggs cookie mixes. Boom!

For something a little bit different, The Garden Of Ireland Vintage Car Club are having an Easter Bunny Run on Monday 10th, meeting up at The Grove at 11am, where cryptic clues will be handed out for a 25-mile drive full of Easter eggs. It’s just €5 for car, and you can check it out here.

Eat while you beep! Blacklion’s mighty fine Man + Machine are giving away a free Cadbury’s Créme Egg this Easter with every car wash. Noice. Details here.

At Halfway Up The Stairs, as well as lots of groovy books – and a visit by Standing On One Leg Is Hard creators Erika McGann and Clive McFarland on Saturday 8th at 3pm – they have a jar full of chocolate eggs. For Easter Weekend, two of Ireland’s finest chefs – Greystones buddies Oran Colhoun and Darryl Haynes – are taking over Belmont Demesne for two days of very special pop-up feasts, with a brunch menu on Saturday 8th from 11am to 4pm and a lunch menu on the Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. For the active kids, Emeka has his Modern Legacy Easter Camps for football fans at Windgates SEK, and running from both April 3rd and 10th. Aimed at boys and girls from 4 to 13, with beginners welcome, these camps, says ex-professional Emeka, cover the “technical aspects of football – dribbling, passing, shooting – as well as the physical skills necessary for effective play, such as ball mastery and 1v1 attacking and defending’.
