Gay Men Being Turned Away At HSE STIJune 16, 2019
It’s one of France’s most-loved movies, and for Greystonians, the sugar-rush that is Amélie will taste that little bit sweeter on Saturday, July 20th.
For that’s the night when the Greystones Film Club comes together with acclaimed chef Thierry Peurois and the much-loved Bear Paw Delicatessen to bring you an evening to fill your heart, and your belly.
Thierry and Claire from Bear Paw are putting together a special French Cuisine menu for the evening, serving up their deli delights at 7pm, whilst just downstairs, in The Whale, the 2001 Jean-Pierre Jeunet classic starring Audrey Tautou will be up on the big screen at 9pm.
As to the fancy French grub for the night, you can indulge in Le paysan pates with crusty French bread, Beef Bourgingnon with creamy gratin potatoes, and spinach & goats cheese tarts, along with the house salads. Heck, they may even be some wine on offer too.
It will be une nuit á se souvenir, full of magic, charm and yummy food.
The whole night – the French cuisine and the French film fave – is just €35, and there are a limited amount of movie-only tickets at €10, and you can grab your spot right here.
