Feel That Greystones Harbour Love

 
With love in our hearts for just about everyone single person in this beautiful town of ours, we have decided it’s high time we finally got around to that Christmas gift we’ve been planning for you good people.

‘Given that that we have spent the past four years scouring the globe for the finest, funniest and fittest shots of Greystones available to man and beast, we’ve managed to pull together quite the humongous archive of snaps. 

The reason being, hey, looks like the internet is here to stay, and wouldn’t it be fine agus dandy for future generations of Greystonians to have thousands of our town’s jigsaw pieces all in one box…?

As well as gathering together the works of great photographers such as John McGowan, Brian Keeley, Eamon Flynn, Jack Clarke, Harry Acheson, Luke McGuinness, Joe Redmond and so many others – all, in many ways, children of the iconic Robert French – we’ve been busy collecting the good, the odd and the hidden gems as well. Which has led to those thousands of beautiful photos, and a site that, once again, has to migrate to a bigger server later this month.

So, that Christmas present! We’ve got over 700 shots of our beloved harbour in our archives now, many of them available for you to wallow in over at our Old Harbour archive, but we’ve also put pretty much all of them up on our external photography archives – where you can download them for nada, zilch, free and without any postage or VAT. Quite a few of them are in hi-res, too.
