Forest Club Autumn After-School Club

Spring is in the air, and that means – hurrah! – our kids will once again venture outdoors.

And if they’re the adventurous kind, the great outdoors is the place they’ll want to explore.

And that’s where The Forest Club Autumn After-School Club comes in. Pretty much the perfect place to be this spring, these nature adventures taking place in privately-owned woodland just on the outskirts of Greystones.

Here’s the lowdown…

The After School Club allows kids to get out in nature and away from screen time on a regular basis, and is focused on fun and creative learning in which children are free to dip in and out of activities as they choose.

With the swings, hammock and mud kitchen, it is also a great way for children to engage in their own creative play and unwind in a beautiful forest setting after the structure of the school day.

With the blackberries ripening and the leaves turning golden Autumn is one of the most exciting times to be out in the forest.

Let Nature Become The Classroom! The Forest Club After School Club is a fantastic program which runs year-round, each after school club is 6 weeks, and there is one on during each school term. As the after school club runs year-round children, get to experience and learn about the changes which take place in nature.

When: Starting September 10th (for Tuesdays) and Wednesday 11th (for Wednesdays) each club runs for 6 weeks and the times are 3.15pm to 5.15pm.
Cost: €125 for a six-week program, which includes a hot drink each day, all course materials, and marshmallows for toasting.
Where: Belmont Demesne, Lower Windgates Road (5/10 minutes from Greystones, Bray & the N11)
