ncredible to think that Fossett’s Circus is 134 years old, and still going strong.

And it’s still being run by the Fossett family, with the 91-year-old Herta still the heart of every show.

Actually run these days by Herta’s son, Edward, these days, the Fossett family played a major part in Ireland declaring the circus an art form back in 2003. And former trapeze artist Herta – who married Teddy Fossett in 1958 – was given a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 by the Circus Friends Association.

So, let’s just say the Fossetts know what they’re doing.

Returning to Greystones this week, you can catch Marion, Otto and the rest of the gang beside Eden Gate Centre from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th.

The timetable is Wednesday 7.30pm, then 4.30pm and 7.30pm shows on Thursday and Friday followed by 2pm and 5pm shows on Saturday and Sunday.

There are discounted tickets on all seats for all shows. So, book early.
