Formerly of this parish, young Fiona Dowling has been in touch about a fine new and free service for those fighting the good fight right now.
With the fourth month of combatting this crazy little feck called Covid-19 looming, it’s left quite a few of our frontline workers battle-weary and broken.
And sometimes worse.
With this in mind, Connect A Coach offers free professional one-on-one support to those facing burnout, or those who just need a time-out and TLC.
A goodwill initiative founded at the end of March 2020 by professional coaches Ailbhe Harrington [right] and Karen Hayes [left], here’s the official blurb…
“It’s really important to reach out,” says Ailbhe. “If we leave it too long, we end up burned out. Coaching offers a space where we can talk to someone confidentially, where we can feel heard, and find ways to access our strengths and wisdom so we can keep stepping forwards. Self-care is vital if we want to have the necessary energy to care for others.”
The aim is to support the mental health and well-being of our frontline workers who are now feeling the effects of Covid-19 – exhausted and running on empty. We all know this new reality will go on for some time, yet there is no time for burnout; our frontline staff need to lean into support to keep them focused and positive in the months ahead.
A conversation with a professional coach can enable you to pause, reflect, gain clarity and find a way forward that works best for you.
Connect A Coach’s panel of professional coaches are volunteering their time and skills, and are being supported by volunteer coach supervisors who are supporting them to work ethically and professionally.
Available seven days a week, with four free session of 45 minutes each, simply visit www.connectacoach.org and get an instant booking with a coach of your choice.
