Free Suicide Alertness Training

Not all that painless…

rganised by Mental Health Ireland, there will be a free suicide alert course in Greystones on September 21st.

Taking place at the Greystones Family Resource Centre in The Charlesland Centre, this morning course is open to any over the age of 18.

Taking place from 10.30am to 2pm, participants will receive a certificate at the end of the training.

The training is offered nationally on an ongoing basis, and the course is free.

Funded by the HSE National Office For Suicide Prevention, and the four basic steps of the course are called Suicide Alertness Skills, and they’re taught with the expectation that the person learning them will use them to help save lives and reduce suicide risk in their community.
