oung Mark Barry from Éire Óg Greystones has been in touch with some good news…
Starting Saturday, May 10th, GAA for kids is finally back in the game.
Take it away, Mark…
Gaelic games for kids is back this May! Following the recent government announcement, we are gearing up to restart Gaelic games for children at the beginning of May. So, if you have children who would like to play our national sports, make friends, learn new skills and have fun, now is the time to get them involved.
Our nursery caters for children born in 2014, 2015 and 2016 (must be currently attending primary school). It takes on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am and mixes hurling and football skills with agility, balance and coordination skills in a non-competitive environment with the overall emphasis is on FUN!!
We also provide Gaelic football, Ladies Gaelic Football and camogie for children up to the age of 18. We’re asking interested parents/guardians to register their children by 13 April if possible, so that we’ll have an idea of numbers before the kick-off. For information and registration, click here.
We’re also on the lookout for new coaches and helpers (full training will be provided). Remember, the more mentors we have, the more children we can cater for. If you have any questions, contact Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0876728765.
