Catriona Holt, founder of local beauty salon Creative Hands in GoGym and product creator, believes that doing the things we love is the best form of meditation and encourages all of her clients to have their own self care rituals that they carry out daily.

Following the phenomenal success of her first products, Removal Clips, which allows easy removal of shellac polish at home & her Night Treatment Nail Oil, Catriona was keen to create a collection which could be used to create a wellness ritual at home.

“I want to encourage people to take 30mins each evening for themselves. In my collection I include a candle, diffuser, Epsom Salts and a body cream. It allows you to create the perfect space to relax. You start by lighting your candle, soaking your diffuser reeds and filling a bath or even soaking the feet in a basin of warm water and putting in 1/2 a cup of our Epsom Salts. After this applying our nourishing body cream and allowing it to work its magic overnight” You will start to notice the benefits of taking this time to care for yourself very quickly”

“The Creative Hands Pedicure Kit, containing a lime essential oil scrub and balm, was a lockdown success”, says Catriona. “The feedback has been incredible, Our lime sugar scrub & balm, when used daily, reduce hard , cracked skin and leave your feet feeling smooth and super soft.”

Creative Hands Wellness Collection offers three fragrances carefully created by Catriona, these include Lime, Lavender and Frankincense & Myrrh. “To be able to offer this to people in the comfort of their own home, especially during these times, is so rewarding. If I can encourage someone to incorporate a self care ritual into their day then I’ve succeeded as a beauty therapist.”

Our candles are handmade in Ireland using natural resources. We use a soy wax to ensure a longer , cleaner burn from you candles.”
