Greystones Orchestra’s Grand Night OutJanuary 14, 2019
‘Twas down at St Vincent’s that we witnessed perhaps the crappiest poster that ever there was.
Perhaps someone put it together using only their feet? Or their mouth…?
Either way, we felt a sudden urge to design a fresh poster for the gang, one that actually included the month. So, you know, people might actually turn up on the right night.
At least, we reckon it must be January. We’ve emailed the powers that be at St David’s, but, given that they seem to be wary of any technology beyond the invention of the toaster in 1893, we’re not sure we’ll be hearing back from them anytime soon.
We’ve included their email above, if you have any further questions, but, for now, St David’s super-talented pupils will be putting on a production of John Waters’ mind-bending, cross-dressing 1960s-set comedy about a young girl dreaming of getting the hell out of Baltimore, and it’s all happening on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th. Of, we think, January. And probably at 8pm each night. We reckon.
Update: We just heard from the lovely Lisa Orr – all the above info is present and correct, with Tuesday’s opening night being just €5.
