iven that they’re a voluntary group, the Greystones Community First Responders rely on the good people of this town to keep those heart lights on.

And that sometimes means coming up with clever ways of fundraising for this lifesaving service.

The latest wizard idea provides a quick and easy way to donate for the upkeep of the 10 defibrillators around the town that the Responders gang maintain.

You’ll find there’s a sticker now placed on these defibrillators – at Donnybrook Fair, SuperValu Charlesland, Daly’s SuperValu, Centra at Eden Gate, Farrelly’s in Delgany, The Burnaby, The Beach House, The Bear Paw on Theatre Lane, Greystones Sailing Club and Circle K – with a QR code included.

Simply scan the code on your phone and you’re one click away from donating €3 to Greystones Community First Responders.

The gang want to give a shout-out to Sign Solutions for the design and production of these Happy Heart stickers too.

For the price of a coffee, you can help save a life, your €3 going to the crucial maintenance of the town’s defibrillators.
