hen we spoke with ex-professional footballer Emeka Meeks earlier this year, it was clear he got a major kick coaching kids in the beautiful game.
Which is hardly surprising, of course.
Having become a professional player aged just 14 – going on to play for Ireland and major teams all across Europe – Emeka recognises the rush of confidence a kid can feel as their football skills begin to take shape. And show up on the score board.
Emeka’s philosophy when it comes to football coaching is, he says, improving skills in a fun and exciting environment, focusing on an individual’s strengths and, most importantly, one-on-one attention.
Now based up in the rather splendid SEK International School on Windgates Hill, Emeka’s latest Elite Football Sessions For Boys And Girls kicks off this Friday, November 24th and runs weekly until December 15th, from 3pm to 4pm each day.
Aimed at kids aged 8½ to 10½, limited to just 10 places and costing €57 for the full four-week crash course, you can register right abouthere.
You can find out more about Emeka and the Modern Legacy Football Academy right about here, and schools looking for some free coaching sessions can get in touch directly on 0852753173 or email here.
