aving formed in late 2011, the Greystones Cricket Club has gone from strength to strength, especially in recent years.

Ireland’s fastest growing cricket club, this might be just the time to try out Mick Jagger’s favourite sport.

Here’s de spiel…

We are rapidly building a family-oriented club that caters for all ages and abilities, and  which promotes cricket to the children and youth of Wicklow and beyond from our home pitch at the fabulous Druids Glen golf resort.

We are keen to get more people involved in the sport and would welcome present and former players, and those with no experience, to join our club.

Since taking the first steps towards creating the club in mid- to late-2011, the speed at which it has grown has been nothing short of amazing.

Greystones Cricket Club has 180 members and fields three senior mens teams playing Division 7, 13 and 16, a ladies team, and junior boys and girls teams all competing in the Leinster leagues. It also has a Tavenerns team for older members who can’t quite tamper with their balls the way they once could.
