Been vaccinated with one of the EU’s approved jabs (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson).
Recovered from a Covid 19 infection in the last 6 months.
Or you have received a recent negative PCR test.

If you were vaccinated through the HSE portal, you will receive a cert via email.
If you were vaccinated at a GP/pharmacy, your cert will arrive in the post.
If you are travelling abroad, you should check the entry requirements beforehand – restrictions of each member state are listed here. The system is being used throughout the EU and also Norway, Switzerland, Liechenstein and Iceland. You can check the European Centre of Disease Control map here.
The postal cert will contain a code which can be scanned onto a smartphone. A national call centre will be established to assist with any inquiries.
