When it comes to public walkways and, hey, the likes of bicycle lanes and disability access, it’s important to make sure that all possibilities are covered at the planning stage.
And so, with the East Coast Greenway – a new coastal path from Greystones to Wicklow Town – those possibilities are still to be decided upon.
Which is where you come in, my fat friend. On Thursday, February 28th, at 7pm in the Druids Glen Hotel, Wicklow County Council, Atkins Engineers and Tourism Development International will be hosting a community workshop to highlight the key aims of the proposed coastal route.
The idea is to get the views, opinions and feedback of the local community on the project.
Should you be able to attend, email email@example.com to book your spot. You can find out more about the East Coast Greenway through our recent interview with ringleader Ciaran Lally here.
