I Want My GGTV

s our video library continues to mushroom – with new interviews, strolls through Greystones and general silly stuff added each week – we decided it might be wise if we started indexing these GGTV buggers.

And so it came to pass.

We were mildly shocked to discover that the number of GGTV outings is currently cruising steadily towards the 200 mark.

And given just how fast the speed of life is these days, by the time you get to the end of this sentence, there’s a very strong chance that we’ve already hit the 2,000 mark.

Rather than lump all the various cathode cuties under one groove, we’ve decided to divide the GGTV clips into Aerial (for all that beautiful sky-high footage), Fun (for all that silly dancing and mock interviews), History (for the boring old farts) Nature (for all the stuff outside your window), News (for all the important stuff), People (mainly interviews) and Walks (have a wild guess).

There’s lots to lose yourself in, and lots that will bring you one step closer to actually being there. Or here.

Depending on where you are.

And just to add more fun to the puns, there’s also a round-up of all the nutty YouTube appearances by our town, a collection of 1920s Pathé newsreels, and a trip through the RTE News archives. Oh, and don’t forget our monthly Harbour Works diary, started way, way back in January 2016.

So, enjoy, you lucky, lucky swines. And when we have enough moolah, we may even invest in a proper camera. And some fancy post-production gizmos.

Then again, maybe not. Raw and red-necked has its own particular honesty and charm.
