⦿ The demolition of Richview House (275 sqm).
We’ve emailed the town planning agent involved, MacCabe Durney Barnes, so,
Hide & Seek & Destroy
ith their application to demolish Gorteen House refused in October, it
would appear a second shot at flattening this old Delgany house is in the works.
It was on GG’s daily walk down Bellevue Hill today that we noticed for the first time a yellow notice letting the world know that Napier Ventures Ltd intend to apply for the same
demolition permission once again.
By a strange coincidence, the deadline for objections to the demolition is Monday 20th, four days away. With Paddy’s Day and Mother’s Day inbetween.
We also check the local planning applications daily on the eplanning.ie website, and this little beauty proved very hard to find.
With the house in question referred to as both Gorteen and Richview, the new application reads…
⦿ The demolition of Richview House (275 sqm).
⦿ The construction of 4 no. dwellings, including 3 no. 4 bed semi-detached units and 1 no. 5 bed semi-detached unit.
⦿ Internal road layout and association open space.
⦿ Required site services and facilities.
⦿ Access will be from Bellevue Hill via estate road currently under construction as permitted under PA.Reg.Ref.15/1307 and An Bord Pleanála Ref. PL27.248401 as extended by PA.Reg.Ref.22/540.
No weathering here… THURS16MAR23
