aunching a series of photography exhibition down at The Boat Yard Gallery, the man of the house, James Griffin, will be displaying his fine wears this August bank holiday weekend.
A photographer who has been capturing the magic Wicklow light for many years, Griffin’s work is currently sitting pretty in many a home.
And you can find out why on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st, from 1pm to 4pm daily, thanks to a new outdoor exhibition.
Here’s the lowdown on the Griffin lad…
James Griffin LIPF is the owner and curator of the Boat Yard Gallery. James is a distinction holder with the Irish Photographic Federation and a founding member of Greystones Camera Club, a thriving club with over 100 members.
“I have always been interested in photography,” James explains, “and when I moved to Wicklow many years ago, it was a great inspiration for my passion of capturing the natural environment.”
He has been selling his photographs for a number of years and his prints adorn the walls of homes and offices around the world, having even been used on the set of an Off-Broadway production in New York and displayed at a number of international photographic exhibitions.
