The Right Time To Buy In Greystones…?July 8, 2020
There’s going to be a lot of pent-up energy just waiting to jump and bounce around the Sugarloaf Gymnastic studios as they reopen for the summer.
And, unsurprisingly, Sharon and Jamie have lined up a whole lot of fun for the coming months.
Along with a slow, gradual return to regular classes, there are the summer camps too, all happening under the strictest Covid-19 assessment and compliance.
Reopening Monday, July 20th, here’s the lowdown…
We have fun gymnastics camps running weekly for children age 5+ 11am – 1pm Mon-Fri – camps are always a sell out at Sugarloaf. It’s 2 hours each day to get lots of practice in on the apparatus for complete beginners to get into gymnastics or experienced gymnasts who want some extra time in the gym along with some games. Our Camps are always fun, progressive and every day is never the same!
Skill and Apparatus workshops are also running so kids can master skills such as the handstand or cartwheel or build up confidence walking on the 4-inch beam for example. We are also running some classes too, our July classes for 4-year-olds are proving to be very popular since they were released yesterday!
We are gradually adding more to the program every week, so far we have the 4-year-olds classes up, all of the camps and the other classes and workshops for July will be added this week and following that we’ll be ready to launch our August classes, camps and workshops.
We are reopening as of July 20th after completing the Gymnastics Ireland (GI) Return to Sport (RTS) education, risk assessment & compliance process that has been conducted behind the scenes since the start of June. Through this GI led process we have developed a thorough club plan for operating in a Covid-19 environment in line with the government Roadmap to Reopening Society & Business (in addition to the Return to Work Safely protocol.
We can’t wait to get back in, we’ve got the best coaching team around as well as the best gymnastics facility in Wicklow and we’re raring to go! All those kids must have a build up of energy and we’re the perfect place to release it by swinging on our bars, bouncing on our trampoline, etc!
