hanks to the fact that we live in one great big movie set around here, the magic of make-believe is always in the air.
Some kids want to be princesses, others zombies, or rockers, or ravers, or maybe a cowboy, or a clown, or even – gulp! – the one agus lonely Peter Andre.
Yep, today’s younger generation have learnt how to dream big, and widescreen, and helping them find their place in the spotlight is the acclaimed Junior Musicals Theatre School.
And they just happen to have a whole bunch of new classes hitting Greystones and Bray right now.
Here’s the lowdown…
We’re delighted to announced that our new term for 2022/2023 will be starting on Saturday September 3rd and Monday September 5th.
And due to demand, we have added two new classes on a Saturday morning in Greystones:
9.15am-10.15am Juniors (6-8 years) 10.15am-11am Tots (3-5 years)
Classes take place in St. Patrick’s School, Church Rd, Greystones.
We also have Musical Theatre classes for older age groups including Inters (9-11 years) Seniors (12 years+) and Youth (14 years+). Other classes include Speech & Drama plus our Junior Musicals Choir.
As well as our Greystones Saturday morning classes we have classes in Bray on a Saturday and a Monday afternoon.
Students were busy over the summer filming for Valhalla and The Miracle Club starring Kathy Bates and Maggie Smith. One of their students can also be seen all over Ireland advertising Back to School uniforms for Dunnes Stores. They are also highly anticipating the release of the Disney film Disenchanted in which some of the students featured.
Hannah has also recently set up The Upbeat Choir which is in association with Junior Musicals and is for adults. She looks forward to hosting a night of festive favourites in the Whale Theatre this Christmas.
We’re so looking forward to celebrating our overdue 30-year anniversary by returning to the Mermaid Theatre for our Christmas show the weekend of December 10th and 11th.
There will be lots of other surprises in store to mark Junior Musicals birthday celebations.
