e’ve been covering the Kenmare Family Fun Day since 2013, 
but it feels like this big day out has been around forever.
If not longer.
That’s possibly because it’s a gathering as old as time, a chance for neighbours to come together and celebrate community, the 
caring and sharing, and generally having the craic.
Even if there are loads of sugar-rushed kids running wild.
Congrats to Margaret Martin, Linda Byrne and all the rest of the gang for pulling this big day together. 
Kudos too, to all the sponsors (including Executive Dry Cleaners, Total DIY and David Martin) and those who donated prizes for the big raffle.
A raffle that included a handmade Christmas quilt by Paula Morrissey, and a home-baked coffee cake to forget your diet for from Ms Martin.
The day being all about having fun whilst raising funds for Kenmare’s annual Halloween spooktacular.
