The latest Greystones Archaelogical & Historical Society’s annual historic love-in at Greystones Golf Club has decided to postpone this year’s bash.
Due to take place on September 11th and 12th under the banner of Ireland Through The ’40s, that feckin’ Covid-19 has the organisers looking to 2021 instead.
In the past hour, George Jones and the gang released the following statement…
It is with regret that the La Touche Legacy committee in association with the Greystones Archaeological and Historical Society confirm that this year’s Seminar/ Festival of History has been postponed due to the current Covid-19 situation.
It will be rescheduled for the 10/11 September 2021 with a Launch Lecture in May 2021.
We thank all our attendees over the years and looking forward to your continued support next year.
In the meantime, keep safe.
You too, old man. Here’s to 2021’s festival. In the meantime, you can catch our 2017 interview with George here, and our 2019 int here.
