Harris & Hillary Celebrate Barrettstown’s 25thJune 27, 2019
With those lazy swines at the Greystones Film Club hosting only one outdoor screening this summer, the mighty Éire Óg have stepped into the breach.
And they’ve gone one better once again, by giving people the option of camping out under the stars for the night too.
Happening on Saturday, September 7th, the screening is The Lego Movie 2 (USA/PG/117mins), this year’s hit sequel to 2014’s surprisingly great cartoon blockbuster.
Determined to ensure that everything is awesome on this magical night, the Éire Óg gang have lined up family fun (from 5.30pm) and food stalls aplenty. So, you know, your kid may not want to go back home ever again.
With the camping open from 6pm, the movie will be on the big outdoor screen at 7.30pm. If you’re up for a sleepover in the wild, it’s just €30 per tent. If you’d prefer to get home to your own bed that night, the movie alone is just €7.
And it all goes to help a longstanding local sports club keep its sturdy feet on the turf. So, go grab your tickets right here.
